 Hello Duane.Hope you all had a blessed christmas.  I wanted to let you know that Nancy burkey is in the corvallis hospital and it is not very good news.  She was DX d with cancer back in sept and the tumor has grown.  If you are in the area please stop in and see her.  Thank you D'Ann 541 258 3756

Dear friends.  Please pray for our nine-year-old ministry (started in 2001) -- www.tjlit.org (Testifying Jesus’ Love in Truth).

 In Toronto, we make free resumes, teach free English weekly, and do free translations/interpretations in 17 languages to any church or organization that asks us to (worldwide.) We also give out 3000 tracts each week, and we get people who are abused, have mental illness and other problems into churches and places where they can receive help, as well as getting kids into free dentists.

We love the Lord, and love the ministry he has blessed us with. We are deeply committed to fighting racism and poverty.

 Please send us your prayer requests (Email: reachus@tjlit.org), and pass our site to friends, missionaries and family, as there are many who are lonely; and, we are thrilled when Christians connect. As the world becomes more hostile towards Christians; it is essential that we connect.

At the moment we are trying to set up a pen pal club so people from all over can write to others and develop friendships.

Nobody should be lonely. If you read this and are lonely, please contact us and we will do our best to get you into a good church wherever you are in the world. We get over 1000 visits a day in ninety-nine countries (our counter is broken), which means somebody will be praying for you.

I have a grandson who is starting 8th grade this year at Waldport Elementary School.  This parents are interested in finding a Christian approach to his daily instruction, so they are wondering if you still have a school in session this year; and, if so, would you be able to accept another student?

Please help me, my husband is dying at the hospital. He is a member of your church. He is critically ill and has been in the hospital in Nigeria for three months. We came here for a Volunteer work to help the African children  and he fail sick here and started having complications with his heart.

 

The hospital demands for US$4750  to offer him further medical help but we have already exhuasted our Medical/Health Insurance. My husband needs to have a surgery before 7 days or he dies. Please borrow me some money , no matter how little and I will surely pay you back and my God shall surely bless you. It could have been you, but thank its not you but you are in a position to save his life, please do.

Just a quick note to the South Oregon Cluster Churches…  

 

As most of you know PlainView Church has been occupying the Venetian Theater since the beginning of 2009.  While this move was unexpected (precipitated by wind damage to our Plainview Drive facility) it has opened the doors to great blessing and significantly increased outreach.  As a result the Advisory and Leadership Teams of PlainView are working with Conference representatives to determine what we are to do with our facility on Plainview Drive.  Although this property has not been “placed on the market” we have been contacted by three individual churches interested in purchasing the building.  Before we entertain any offers from outside the Conference we felt it important that we touch base with South Oregon PNMC Cluster Churches to determine if there is any interest therein in purchasing the Plainview Drive facility. If your congregation is interested in exploring purchase of this facility we are asking that you contact me within the next two weeks – prior to October 17^th.
